Final Blog post

Today I will write my last blog, but hopefully not the last time I can write in English.

I must start by saying that it was very useful to do this "training" because that was new to me ... and totally interesting experience, since this experience allowed me to imagine, investigate, create and learn, through experience, this language .

to be honest sometimes I do not enjoyed to write, because sometimes was very difficult for me.

the experience of writing a blog has developed my ability to write faster and also helped me to expand my vocabulary, because having a real experience of the language.

one of the things I liked most was having a blog to share and also to learn from the stories of my classmates.

I am very pleased with this great experience!

September

I think this year the celebration of september will be different.

One reason is because of the weather, the weather is changing all the time... because it does not make you want to go outside. But from another point, this year It appears to be several activities to celebrate.

One of my favorites is the great "fonda" of the national stadium. where you can find all kinds of food, traditional games, rodeo stadium and circus.

when I was a kid with my parents was tradition to go every year to  O'Higgins Park. I looked forward all year to September came for two reasons, because my birthday is in September and because I liked to go to the "fondas" with my family. Our tour began with typical games, my favorite was the shotgun shooting and throwing rings and also win various prizes. then we moved on to eat somewhere.

Now being bigger my greatest achievement for the September celebrations will take a great "terremoto" and survive because next week I have my last test before graduating from my career after seven years studying. I hope everything goes well this September and unforgettable

A delight for the ears

Hello today I going to talk about the music I like to listen.
My musical tastes has changed over my life. when I was a child I grew up listening to the music of Elvis Presley, Camilo Sesto and Silvio Rodrigues. Sounds very different from each other and from different parts of the world.

later at age 15 I`m interested in reggae music, this coincided with my start in the guitar and singing. Because of this experience also started to meet all kinds of popular and folk music.

Then when I finallylearned guitar, I started playing music of Metallica and some classic rock, such as AC / DC, Rolling Stones and Nirvana among others.

Then to enter university met classical music, but that's another world where there are also infinite possibilities, influences and very different composers.

Now I really like the "dance music", such as electronic music and salsa. so my favorite bands in each type of music are Bob Marley and Cultura Profetica in reggae music, Los Van Van and Los adolescentes in dance music and in classical music, but also influenced the popular music and the tango this is my favorite of all, the composer Astor Piazzolla

My future job

Today I going to talk about my future job, which is related to the work I do today. I like to compose music for film, also composing music for all kinds of spot, theater and dance works. I imagine that this work can be done in an office recording music, writing scores and rehearsing with the musicians, but also could go to places where the movies are recorded, work directly with the director and actors, with all kinds of artists. other job I would like to compose music for cartoons...

I also like to travel around the world recording my music with different orchestras. also known pixar studios in the United States and Japan Ghibli studios.

This year I am finishing my study of musical composition. to be honest I'm tired of my study, as they are many years (7 years), in which I learned many things and I could win a great experience, but there are also a lot of energy is lost considering many things that aren't  good for work today. In short I think it is a bit outdated career.

Currently I have several jobs. I compose music for works of theater, dance works, do classes in schools and also do private lessons to guitar and piano.

I really like do classes

I think is one of the things I like to do in life

Perú Holidays

Today I´m going to talk about my vacations in the north of the continent, especialmente en Perú. It was in February to 2013. I went with 9 friends and toured some of the most beautiful cities in Peru. We were there for one month. It was a very fun ride and it was my first time with so much time away from home and also in another country.

We went to Tacna, Arequipa, Cusco, Machu-pichu, Lima and La Merced. This adventure was really extraordinary. My favorite place was Machu-pichu. To get there we had to take a trip of 9 hours, then we had to walk for two hours more by the railroad tracks to reach the city of "Aguas Calientes".

After the night we had to wake up at 5 in the morning to start the climb to the mountain Machu Pichu. after two hours we arrived at the entrance to Machu Pichu. This place is one of the most amazing we have ever been. During a tour of two hours we toured the holy city.

Later we stayed for a week in the central jungle. There I met some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever been.We visit some national parks where they had monkeys, snakes and giant butterflies.

I would like to return to Peru. I found a very friendly country, beautiful scenery, a magical place

walking through paris in the night (short story)

I love walking through Paris at night. My favorite thing is to looking the sky and talk with the musicians and the artist who live in the stars.

When I meet him, I was  13 years old and her music impacting me. I was practice piano in the “Conservatorie de Paris", I go early days and sometimes also in the night.

I love all music, I love rock, electro music, jazz, I even like the music heard in the supermarket on Sunday in the morning. But I can`t explain what happens to me every time I play Erik Satie on the piano. His music has so much power that can transport me across space and take me to Paris.

I imagine walking through its streets, and jump from the Eifel tower, while everything happens in slow motion and I would like to hear the Satie music while my body falls to the ground.

Teaser Juan Downey: Mas Allá de estos Muros

Juan Downey "Mas allá de estos muros"

Juan Downey Alvarado, artista visual, dibujante, pintor, grabador y videasta.

Vinko Globokar | Freu(n)de (1987) for six cellos

Vinko Globokar
